Annapurna Century or Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most popular trek in the Himalaya of Nepal.Its good introductory route and closely encounter with Himalayan with in a short period of time. You’ll explore the heart of the Annapurna’s as you trek into the Annapurna base camp, is the most spectacular spot for dramatic view and lay out of 11 towering snow capped peaks. The trail follows forested path and crossing the local houses with knowledge of local culture. This trek offers you fantastic view of snow capped high mountains and landscapes of terrace field and also hassle free of the high altitude sickness.
Annapurna Base Camp trek starts from Nayapul & Birenthanti and the trek combines spectacular mountain scenery with incredible cultural diversity and traverses through rural farms and villages. The trail leads towards the deep gorge between the peaks-Hiunchuli and Machhapuchare through the dense bamboo forest up to the Sanctuary via Modi valley. Once into the Sanctuary you will be in the midst of amphitheater of snow peaks Annapurna I (-8,091m) and other major peaks overlooking the Sanctuary include the Annapurna south 7,219m, Gangapurna 7,455m. and Annapurna III 7,555m.
