Mustang is a region lost amongst the mountains. This was an independent country until it was closely consolidated into Nepal just a couple of decades back.
The kingdom of Mustang lies in the rain shadow formed by the Annapurna & Nilgiri Himalaya thus gets very little rain which makes the area ideal for trekking even in the mid monsoon while the other areas of Nepal remain unviable for trekking due to heavy monsoon rain.

The above itinerary is a guideline pattern only which we provide. Upper Mustang Trekking - 17 days can be tailor-made as per your request of your specific requirements. An adventure trekking holiday of this type-Mountain weather, local politics, transportation or any other factor beyond Nepal Nomad control can be resulted in a change of itinerary. If, alteration is necessary the trek leader decides which is the best alternate for whole group.
