Bhutan first opened its borders to travelers’ way back in 1974, the kingdom of Bhutan remains perhaps, the world's most exclusive travel destination ever conceived. A pulsating and living museum where the ancient blends in sync with modern trends per se, this exotic land, well known as the 'land of the thunder dragon' is also said to be 'the last Shangri La' on earth; is situated in the laps of the Eastern Himalayas between India & china and covers an area of 18000 sq miles.
