Pre-Trip Meeting before heading for Kongde Yeti Trail Hike

It’s a way of connecting properly with the team members and you. A pre-trip meeting is a way of assuring both parties that things are going alright and as per the plan which will be held between the first and second day of the trek before we head for the actual plan.

A typical day in the journey of Kongde yeti trails

Your normal trekking day begins with a breakfast and it usually begins very early in the morning as per nature and the period of the day’s walks. We will leave one accommodation to reach another and it will mostly keep on changing except for the rest day. We have lunch in the middle of the day and in the middle of our trek usually. Then in the afternoon, we reach and stay at our respective lodges or hotels or tea houses until the next morning.

Accommodation and meals in Kongde Yeti Trail Trekking

In the Himalayan sections, usually, the condition of accommodations will be very tight which means limited access. So you are humbly requested to remain prepared for adjustments and some little compromises with bathroom facilities and shower as they are usually on a shared basis whereas shower access is very tough at times. Fireplaces in the lodges will keep you cozy and comfortable.

Similarly, 3 meals will be taken care of on a daily and full board basis as per your suiting taste and on the basis of what seems to available in the lodge. The three meals will be Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner accompanied with tea or coffee.

Altitude Sickness in the Kondge Yeti Trail Trekking Trip

We try our utmost to not be caught by altitude sickness through the acclimatization process at various times and spots. We will be taking necessary measures like exercise and acclimatization. So there won’t be much risk of altitude sickness. But we must acknowledge the different stages of Altitude sickness like Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE), and High Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE). However, if one shows symptoms of it then they are headed towards the safer place that is the lower altitude. If it’s an emergency and needs serious medical attention, then evacuation is done.
