On the very beginning, you will be landing in the Tribhuvan International Airport and our team member will be their waiting to pick you up. Then you will be escorted to your accommodations where you can get changed and refreshed before heading for a calming stroll in the cozy streets of Kathmandu. In the evening, we will have brief discussion about the upcoming trip which is followed by a special Nepali Cuisine dinner served with great hospitality.

Today we will be concluding our final preparations relating to permits and other necessities in Kathmandu. Similarly, our tour guide will take you for sightseeing around various heritages of Kathmandu, some of which have even made it to the list of UNESCO’s world heritage sites. Our guide will provide you with all the essential information about the heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath and some other astounding sites. Later, we will again have a trip discussion session. Take enough rest today and sleep well because from the next day, it is going to be a exciting and bumpy adventure.

On the third day, we will be catching an early morning flight to Lukla from Kathmandu which is going to last for about 45 minutes. It is going to be a scenic flight with some thrills as we will be flying high above the clouds with the glimpse of glorious Himalayas and astounding landscapes.

After the landing, we will start the trek on the same day as we head towards Phakding for our overnight stay. It will be a walk lasting for about three hours.

Today, we will be moving for Namche Bazaar situated at an elevation of 3,440 meters after having a warm breakfast at Phakding. We will be staying at Namche Bazaar for the night. We will be heading towards Namche Bazaar by passing through beautiful forests of pine along with the gracious company of mountains like Lhotse, Everest and some other glorious peaks.

On the fifth day, we will be resting at Namche Bazaar and exploring the hustling and bustling town. We will be facing a severe change in elevation in the upcoming days and it is going to be a long trek ahead, that’s why, the acclimatization rest is a must.

Today, after proper rest and acclimatization, we will be moving towards Thame which is situated at an elevation of 3,820 meters. It is likely to take us about four hours to reach Thame as we will be making our way through various paths filled with fluttering prayer flags and graciously standing mani stones. We will be staying overnight at Thame.

From Thame, on the seventh day, we will be leaving for Lungden after an early morning breakfast. We will be extending our steps towards an elevation of 4,500 meters which will take us about five hours to reach. We will be encountered through various tiny Sherpa villages along the way as we witness the glorious existence of wilderness. We can even observe the yak caravans moving for trading purposes. We will be staying overnight at Lungden.

On the eighth day, Gokyo will be our destination for the night. We will be heading towards Gokyo by crossing the amazing Renjo la pass which is situated at an elevation of 5,415 meters. We will be making our way through a rocky path which is dramatically distributed as we pass through the frozen streams. We will be encountered with various Yak Kharkas and lakes named after the pass, along the way. The top of the Renjo La Pass provides you an incredible view of Various glacier, valleys, monasteries including Kalapatthar.

Today, we will be stopping our trek and head for a hike towards the Gokyo Peak. We will use the day to acclimatize and explore the Gokyo surroundings. From the hike, we will be able to gain incredible views of mountains like Cho-oyu, Everest and some others. We will be staying overnight at Gokyo.

After being properly acclimatized with beautiful exploration of Gokyo, we will be heading for Thaknag situated at an elevation of 4,690 meters. It is likely to take us about five hours to reach Thaknag after crossing various glaciers. We will pass through some tiny villages including the Kharka village. We will be staying overnight at Thaknag.

On the eleventh day, we will have our early morning breakfast at Thaknag and then head to reach Dzongla which is situated at an elevation of 4,710 meters. We will be crossing the amazing pass of Cho La which will be a little challenging to ascend but equally rewarding. From the elevation of 5,300 meters where the Cho La Pass stands, we will be able to view the amazing Rolwaling valley including the beautiful Ama Dablam Mountain. Then we will descend down to reach Dzongla situated at an altitude of 4,710 meters where we will be staying for the night.

From Dzongla, we will be extending our steps towards Lobuche which is situated at an elevation of 4,910 meters which is likely to take us about four hours to reach. We will be going through various up and downs to reach Lobuche where we will be staying for the night.

On the thirteenth day, we will be reaching Gorak Shep where we will drop our bags and equipments as we have our lunch and then head for the Base Camp hike which is situated at an elevation of 5,160 meters. We will be getting closer to Gorak Shep from our venture from Lobuche after crossing Changri Nup Glacier. Then on the same day, after the hike, we will return back to Gorak Shep for our overnight stay as we can’t stay overnight in the Base Camp.

Today, we will be going for a short hike to Kalapatthar after an early morning breakfast at Gorak Shep. It is likely to take us about three hours to get to Kalapatthar as we head for a steep walk all the way to the top of Kalapathar which rewards us with the astounding view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse and even Khumbu ice fall which is indeed breathtaking. Then, we will be returning back to Gorak Shep for our overnight stay.

On the fifteenth day, we will be leaving Gorak Shep to reach Lobuche Base Camp after nergizing ourselves with the early morning breakfast. We will be making various ascents and descents along the way as we pass through rocky paths. We will be accompanied by the amazing view of mountains like Pokalde, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and some other incredible peaks as we move forward to the base camp. We will be staying overnight in our tented camp at Lobuche Base Camp.

The sixteenth day has been separated for acclimatization purpose as we will be further extending our steps to much greater elevation. We will be conducting some trainings and practices regarding the use of gears and various procedures regarding the climbing. We will be staying overnight at Lobuche Base Camp.

Today, from the Lobuche Base Camp, we will be heading towards the High Camp after having an early morning breakfast. We will be extending our steps to reach an elevation of 5600 meters. We will be making our way through trails filled with boulders and if we get there right on time we will be able to catch the beautiful sunset over the Himalayas from the high camp. Our team will settle the camp there and the climbing team members will settle all the required equipments for the next morning’s climb

On the eighteenth day, we finally begin the climb of our very first climbing peak of this adventure which is the Lobuche peak situated at an elevation of 5,760 meters. We will begin the summit very early in the morning and our professional climbing guide will instruct you all along the way. This is the day where we will be using all our practices, trainings, and experiences along with our acclimatized fitness to reach to the top of Lobuche Peak. It will indeed be a glorious moment to be standing on top of one of the most incredible peaks. On the same day, we will be returning back to the base Camp for our overnight stay.

Today, we will step into the trails which lead us to Pokalde Base Camp which is situated at an elevation of 4400 meters. Along the way, we will be ascending Kongma La Pass which is situated at an elevation of 5,535 meters. Though the ascent is a little challenging but it is equally rewarding as well. We will be observing the beautifully fluttering prayer flags along the way to Pokalde Base camp. We will be staying overnight in our tented camp at Pokalde peak Base camp.

The twentieth day is settled for summiting the Pokalde Peak standing at an elevation of 5,806 meters. We will begin summiting very early in the morning to avoid any harsh weather conditions and to have enough time in our hands to descend back to Chhukung. Our climbing expert will instruct you throughout the climb and while feeling the thrill and challenges, in no time, we will be reaching to the top of Pokalde Peak. And in this way, we will finish summiting our second peak of the amazing Everest three peaks climbing journey and then, head back to Chhukung for our overnight stay.

Today, we will be moving closer to the summit of our third peak which is none other than the astounding Island Peak. Our destination for the day is Island Peak Base Camp. We will be encountered with Imja glacier along the way. We will be walking for about three to four hours to reach the Island Peak Base Camp situated at an elevation of 5200 meters. We will be staying overnight at Island Peak Base camp in our tented camp.

Today, we will be resting for acclimatization purpose in the Island Peak Base Camp. We will certainly conduct some preparations for the climb like the practice of use of gears, trainings and other required activities for a successful summit of the peak.

From the Island Peak Base Camp, we will be extending our steps towards the high camp situated at an elevation of 5600 meters. It will be a very short hike lasting for about two to three hours. After we reach, we will be settling our camping tent and all the equipments for climbing. We will stay in our tented camp for the night.

From high camp, we will begin summiting the amazing island peak very early in the morning. Our climbing expert will lead the way and instruct you throughout the climb. We will be passing through several gullies and narrow crest while climbing the Island peak. We will be faced with some challenges; however, the reward is extraordinary. It will definitely feel surreal yet divine to be standing on top of the altitude of 6,289 meters. Finally, with this summit, we complete the climb of all three peaks of our amazing climbing journey. It indeed deserves some celebration

Today, we will be heading for Tengboche from Chhukung which is situated at an altitude of 3,867 meters which is likely to take us about four to five hours to reach, We will following the trails leading to Imja Khola valley which will lead us all the way to Dingboche. We will be crossing various rivers like Imja khola itself through suspension bridge. We will be staying at Tengboche for the night.

After a warm breakfast at tengboche, we will be making our way to reach Monjo which is a short downhill from Namche Bazaar. We will firstly reach Namche Bazaar and have our lunch there. Then we will head towards Monjo situated at an elevation of 2,835 meters for our overnight stay.

We are slowly coming to the end of our great climbing adventure. As the concluding process continues, we head back to Lukla situated at an elevation of 2800 meters which will take us about three to four hours to reach. We will be staying overnight in our accommodation at Lukla

Finally, we catch an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu in order to avoid any harsh weather patterns. After landing in Kathmandu, our guide will escort you to your accommodations where you can get refreshed and take all the necessary time to rest.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Experience Required:

A good level of fitness and experience of mountain walking is required for the Everest 3 Peaks 3 passes Climb. These tend to be longer treks with some more difficult days, some of which may involve walking at increased altitudes and more difficult terrain. Occasionally, there may be a longer day when negotiating the more challenging sections such as a mountain pass or viewing peak. Altitude may range up to 6000 meters.

Pre-Trip Meeting:

Prior to set off to Everest 3 Peaks 3 passes climb, we host a Pre-Trip meeting here in Kathmandu office on the 2nd day of your itinerary which starts in the evening during the dinner and introduce your trek Leader. It is an opportunity for individuals to ask questions about your Everest 3 Peaks 3 passes climb as well as introduce you to one another.

Equipment Check List:

The specified basic equipments check lists should help you with your packing. Remember to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum. At the start of the trek your packed trek bag should not weigh more than 20 kg.

Head:-

For the head protection: Sun hat or scarf - Light balaclava or warm fleece hat - Sunglasses with UV protection.

Lower Body: -

A typical day:

At 6.30 am your Sherpa knocks on your door with a cup of good morning tea. Time for the Breakfast, tight up your bag pack and head off for today's trekking hiking for the next three to four hours then at pleasant spot we shall stop for an hour along the way for a well-prepared hot lunch. Later, a walk another three hours or so before you stop for the over night. The evening can be spent reading or chatting with your fellow hikers or trekking crew about the trip of the day. An asset can be pack of games to these nights; your trekking crew love teaching various Nepali card games and learning new Western games. Eventually, it's time to bed for a well deserved night.

Accommodation:

While at the Everest 3 Peaks 3 passes Climb, lodging options are limited so please do not expect the Ritz! Nepal Nomad utilizes simplistic family run lodges, with a large sociable central dining area and a cozy chimney burning fire. Lodges are on a twin share basis and we recommend you use your own sleeping bag. Accommodations in Everest 3 Peaks 3 passes Climb tend to have shared bathroom facilities and you may not always have access to a shower. Every day dinner and breakfast will be placed and taken in the same lodge you spend over night but Lunch will be taken on your way to next village. Farewell dinner, breakfast and reception will be provided in Kathmandu.
