Here, your guide will explain the unique synergy between Buddhism and Hinduism in Nepal. The trip then moves on to Boudhanath to view the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. Boudhanath is also home of the largest community of Tibetans outside of Tibet. Enjoy lunch at a rooftop restaurant (own expense) for a fantastic view of the stupa. The day concludes with a visit to the final UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pashupati. This is the most sacred place for Hindus in Nepal and one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus around the world. Your guide will explain the various temples that make up the site.
