With your delightful steps in the entrance of Kathmandu, our representative member will be there on time to pick you up and gently welcome you in this beautiful country. Then, you will be comfortably introduced to your accommodation with the notice of a pre-trip briefing which will be organized in our office in the afternoon with enough time for you to rest before that. So we prepare a guide for you for a very relaxing sightseeing tour in the heritages of the city having historical and religious marks of significance. After breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu to Beni and to Galeshwor Bazaar which is generally around 285 kilometer west from Kathmandu and takes approximately 9 hours drive. We rise from Narchyang town to upper Ghorepani town. An incomparable vantage point in this flawless and quiet town offers stunning perspectives on Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli. USEFUL INFORMATION

Experience Required:

There is nothing more required than healthy conditions of body and an enduring level of fitness.

Pre-Trip Meeting:

A meeting before heading off for the trip is what we call pre-trip meeting or briefing which will certainly be organized in the first initial days in Kathmandu.

Equipment Check List:

Make sure to organize and manage the given list of equipment in such a way that the weight is no more beyond 20 Kilograms:

Head:-

For the head protection: Sun hat or scarf - Light balaclava or warm fleece hat - Sunglasses with UV protection.

Lower Body: -

Under Garments - Hiking shorts - Lightweight cotton long pants - Light weight hiking thermal bottoms - Fleece or wool pants – Waterproof trekking trousers -

Feet: - lightweight thin inner socks - Thick, warm wool hiking socks - Hiking boots with spare laces - Camp shoes – Gaiters (optional)

Upper Body:-

As for the upper body’s shirts – Hiking and light weight thermal tops - Fleece jacket or pullover - Fleece Wind-Stopper jacket (optional) - Waterproof shell jacket - Down vest and/or jacket - Base layer shirts - Warm jacket (down)*

Hands: - gloves that are Lightweight - Heavyweight gloves or mittens with a waterproof shell outer.

Basic First Aid Kit: - Antiseptic cream, throat lozenges, diarrhoea treatment (Imodium), altitude (Diamox), painkillers, plasters and blister treatment, insect repellent, and re-hydration salts (Dioralite). Glucose tablets and multi-vitamin tablets are also a good idea.

A typical day:

A simple trekking day will generally start with a cup of tea or any other items which you favor along with other set of breakfast which then leads us to leave the particular area and head to reach another one. As we connect ourselves with the day’s path, we rest at a spot for energy revival with lunch, then again we head off non-stop and finally reach our overnight relaxing area.

Accommodation:

Be ready to experience a little different out of the luxurious comfort where you will have limited access to shower as well as the lodging facilities along with the conditions for the bathrooms to be shared.

Insurance:

Without Insurance, it’s a pretty tough job for us to join anyone on this venture, so it’s better to have or which we should term as a ‘must’ have insurances on medical, trip cancellation and emergency evacuation grounds.

Altitude Sickness:

The height may take a toll of anyone who is new to the environment, so some medicine will be there with us and we will acclimatize too. However, if there are unfortunate circumstances when one is in serious condition due to this, rescue operation will be conducted.

On Mohare Danda trekking, like in any other trekking, 3 meals will be given as per one’s demands.
