On the third day, we begin our trekking journey after we have our early morning breakfast. We will be walking through the trails of the Langtang region leading to Lama Hotel from Sybru Besi. We will certainly be facing some ups and downs as we make our way through the landslide zone by ascending through bamboo trees. We will be crossing some suspension bridges and stop for lunch on the way. We will have our overnight stay at Lama Hotel.

Today, we will be facing some short climbs as we pass through dense forests decorated with pines, oaks, and rhododendron. If the day is filled with luck, we will definitely get to see wildlife like Langur, Himalayan black bears, red Pandas,s, and others before we reach the Langtang Village where we will spend our night.

We will be leaving Langtang after early morning breakfast and make our way to Kyanjin Gompa. The path to Kyanjin Gompa takes us through short climbs with the encounters of various pretty villages. We will be conducting gradual climbs past the incredible Mani wall. It is likely to take us about three to four hours to reach our destination for the night.

On the sixth day of our amazing trek, we will be resting at Kyanjin Gompa to stretch our muscles for upcoming paths and acclimatize our bodies. We will seize this moment to explore and spend our time at the monastery and beautiful villages.

We will be leaving very early in the morning to summit Yala Peak which stands tall at an elevation of 550 meters. The climb can be a little challenging, however, we will be rewarded with the breathtaking views of glorious mountain peaks like Lirung and some other peaks of the Langtang Himalayan range. After successfully climbing the Yala peak, we will be heading back to Yala Base Camp and then pack up to further move ahead towards the Kyanjin Gompa where we will be staying overnight before heading for Lama Hotel.

Today is day ninth which leads us back to the amazing lama hotel from the gorgeous Kyangjing Gomba as we head downwards Langtang Khola from the Langtang village. We will be stopping for our lunch on the Gora Tabela and after gaining all the energy, we again start trekking downhill to the Lama Hotel.

Experience and Insurance Required for Yala Peak Climbing

Talking about the experience, you need to have experience of mountain walking and should be physically fit. One should be ready to face all the challenges on the way to Yala Peak and the altitude ranges up to 5500 meters. Nepal Nomad's booking terms & conditions for joining Yala Peak climbing include that you must be fully insured with medical, and emergency rescue evacuations including trip cancellation insurance which should cover over 3000m to 6000m.

Pre-Trip Meeting Before Yala Peak Summit

We always hold a pre-trekking or climbing meeting before starting our trip. The meeting is usually done on day one where all the team members will gather and discuss the things related to the trip.

A typical day in the Yala Peak Climbing

Your regular day will always be the same, your Sherpa will serve you tea or coffee at 6:30 am when you will be informed to get ready for the trip. You will start trekking after having breakfast. The hiking will be for three to four hours and will stop for lunch for about an hour. After lunch, the trip continues for another two to three hours. The everyday trekking won’t go further than 8 hours as your body needs to rest too. We will spend our night at the lodge and have some fun but will also sleep on time.

Accommodation and Meals in Yala Peak Climb adventure

As we will not have good facilities lodge at the Yala Peak climbing trip, so do not expect it. Nepal Nomad simply arranges family-run lodges, with a large sociable central dining area and a cozy chimney-burning fire. Lodging in the Yala Peak climbing will in general have a shared washroom and you may not generally approach a shower. Despite the absence of offices, these cabins surely have a rural appeal, most are honored with terrific perspectives, and being family-run activities, they offer an extraordinary understanding of the day-by-day life of the Mountain individuals. On Yala Peak climbing, three meals on a full board basis will be provided. Altitude Sickness in Yala Peak Climbing

Altitude sickness is rare but we cannot be sure about it so we have arranged an acclimatization day, in case to overcome any hovering risk of altitude sickness like the three major stages; Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE), and High Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE). The symptoms you will need to notice are headaches, rough breathing, restlessness, vomiting, and inflammation of fingers and glands.

  • Yala Peak Climbing Adventure with Nepal nomad is well-secured and safe to any kind of travelers no matter their gender or the nature of their travel since your safety is given the highest priority.

  • The off-beaten routes of the Yala Peak Climbing Journey are quite a challenge for accessing toilet facilities, so we need to be ever ready to take alternative measures for disposing of human waste.

    But in the case of lodges or hotels on the trip of Yala Peak Climbing, you will be made available will proper basic toilet facilities, however, usually, they are shared facilities which means that you have shared the facility with other people in the lodge. During your time in the city, access to proper toilet facilities whether of western or non-western style won’t be a big deal.
