On the first day of your arrival, our representative with our office vehicle will be on a standby .After you are transferred to the hotel a pre-trek briefing on the trekking program and any last minute arrangements will schedules. On this particular day, we explore around Kathmandu City and visit to the two world heritage sites. From Kathmandu, we take an early flight to Pokhara after an early breakfast and get moved to the hotel. After relaxing and wandering around we will head to dine out at lake side restaurants (cost not included).

Our trek initiates with drive of 45 minutes in the morning to Nayapul from Pokhara. We then go down the hill to Birethanti progressively after the Bhurungdi Khola bank to arrive at the Tirkhedhunga where we stay our overnight there on the path.

The Nepali word meaning for thanti is rest house. The path is covered with snow in the winter and then it is just an hour walk to Ghorepani from Nangethanti.

It is day six as we hike up to the designation of Poon Hill in the early morning to the farmed vantage point. Around 45 minutes of time and then you get the whole sight of the mesmerizing sunrise with a thrilling Himalaya views which extends from Dhaulagiri (8167m) to Manaslu (8156m) both being the world’s seventh and eight highest mountains. Out from the Chhomrung, we precede our trek with steep stone after passing the Chhomrung Khola. Beautiful bamboo forest, rhododendron covered path and the mountain terrains accompany us. Out from the Sinwa we go on the track to the Taglung as we follow the trail and then descending gently from the forests we will walk above the wheat fields of the Taglung and the potatoes fields. Located just above the Khumbu Khola at 1720m, the trail drops steeply on a series of switch backs to Kimrung village. Then with the steep climb of the Uri’s tea house, we pass at 2200m. We then descend to Ghandruk from Uri where we will stay for an overnight.

Today is day 13, as we go for a 5 hours trek to the Tolkha as we go downhill to the Ghandruk Village courtyards which the natty paved. The trail encloses with the Modi Khola as we reach at the Tolkha and the Landruk after crossing the stream at the suspension bridge. At Tolkha we stay for an overnight.

Along with stones of the forested path, the trail descends out of the Tolkha then we proceed at the Bherikharka descending to the past several tea houses, Bherikharka is also the head of a canyon at the Dhampus (1510m). We will head back to the Pokhara for reminding ourselves to be free and relish at the gracious city of lakes and relax at the hotel. Then we walk on the walk to the Fewa Lake.

Experience Required:

A good level of fitness and experience of mountain walking is required for the Annapurna Base camp trekking. These tend to be longer treks with some more difficult days, some of which may involve walking at increased altitudes and more difficult terrain. Occasionally, there may be a longer day when negotiating the more challenging sections such as a mountain pass or viewing peak.

Pre-Trip Meeting:

A typical day:

At 6.30 am your Sherpa knocks on your door with a cup of good morning tea.
