This Rock climbing in Kathmandu introduces you to the use of several equipments of climbing which takes a broader form in mountain and ice climb. There will be the use of equipments like Climbing rope, helmet, chalk powder, harness, Belay device and many other equipments which will be explained to you by Nepal Nomad’s professional climbing guide. In order to reach our rock climbing spot in Hattiban, we will have to undertake an uphill hike for about half an hour. While on your way to the climbing point, you will be ascending through the forest filled with pines. The Rock climbing in Pharping brings you the encounter of monasteries, Buddhist monks, Buddhist schools and the generous local people living there.

6 a.m.: Meeting

At this time, we will be meeting in the Bus Park.

8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.: Reach Hattiban and have Breakfast

We will finally be reaching Hattiban and enjoy an energizing breakfast.

8:30 a.m. – 9:00: Hiking to the climbing point

We will be walking for half an hour to reach the climbing point.

9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: introduction of equipments

Our climbing guide will instruct you about the types of equipments and their use.

9:30 a.m. – 9:40 a.m.: Rest time

You will be resting and warming up before beginning the climb.

9:40 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Training and Preparation

Our guide will settle all the climbing equipments and provide you some basic trainings.

10 a.m. – 12:30 a.m.: Begin Rock climbing

Finally, we begin climbing and our guide will instruct you while crossing the hurdles on your way to the top.

12:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch Break, half an hour

We will be taking a short break and have our lunch.

1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Resume Climbing

After our break, we will again resume our climb.

3:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.: Cleaning and packing

After completing our climbing, we begin cleaning up the mess we created in the area and begin packing.

3:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: Descend down from the climbing point

We will be now retracing back to the point where we had our breakfast.

3:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.: Rest time

We will be having some refreshing drinks or maybe tea/coffee.

4:15 p.m.: Departure from Hattiban

Finally, the climbing adventure has come to an end. We will now depart from Hattiban.
